Machine Operator
Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable Machine Operator (s) to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machines that shape materials through moulding, injection, and similar processes. The role involves performing manual tasks that require precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Fill and inspect the machine hopper with plastic materials before operation.
- Start, operate, attend to, and monitor machines that knead and blend compounds to produce plastic products.
- Trim excess flashing from finished products where applicable.
- Separate and dispose of rejected parts and flash materials for recycling.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and procedures.
- Accurately weigh, record, and log production output.
- Assemble components or parts of products, as required.
- Report any equipment or product defects to the foreman immediately.
- Stack finished products into boxes or bags and transfer them using trolleys for further processing.
- Follow and maintain strict health and safety practices at all times.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Be available and flexible to work night shifts.
Requirements:
- Minimum Form IV education or higher.
- Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or plastics environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of machine operations and safety guidelines.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required.

Assistant Quality & Audit Officer
Overview
As an Assistant Audit & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization meets regulatory requirements and maintains high standards of quality in all aspects of our operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong inter-personal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management & HACCP
- Ensure proper effective implementation and improvement of our quality management system based on ISO 9001 and HACCP based on Codex Alimentarius.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of quality control / quality assurance measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Uphold the GMP and GHP in place through housekeeping audits and advise on improvement areas.
- Identify and analyse areas of non-Quality (defects, non-compliance with deadlines, poor organization, etc.) and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in the investigation of any complaints received.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in our processes/systems, develop and mitigate them.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to minimize the likelihood of non-compliance or quality issues.
Qualifications & Main Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as quality management.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality management systems.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP standards, Audits, regulatory requirements, and other industry standards.
- Demonstrated success in the implementation and certification of quality management systems and HACCP
- Ambitious and motivated to take responsibilities, while being self-motivated.
